Our Grading

Grading Summary

  • Brand New: Devices are in original packaging, boxed/unboxed in original manufacturer packaging.
  • Grade A+: Excellent condition.
  • Grade A, A-: Good condition, refurbished or minimal wear.
  • Grade B, C: Acceptable condition, regular use.
  • Warranty Upgrade: Option available for all grades.


Brand New

  • Only selected devices come with their original boxes. If packaging is damaged, the device will be packed in standard packaging.

Grade A+

  • Condition: Excellent
  • Description:
    • The device is in like-new condition with minimal wear.
    • The screen is in almost-perfect condition with only one small micro spot or scratch allowed.
    • The screen is almost perfect. Minimal micro-wear/1–2 hairline scratches allowed.
    • If the screen is turned on, it can have no white spots or other similar imperfections (lines, discoloration, dead pixels, spotlights).

Grade A

  • Minor signs of use
    • The device is well-preserved with little wear. Conditions allowed:
      • There can be a small amount of wear on the sides, bottom, or other less-noticeable locations. No damaged corners.
      • Rubber feet must be present.
      • Similar to A+ screen, but might have visible mini-defects. Allowed defects include:
        • Cannot have any deep scratches.
        • There may be few light hairlines in the middle or clusters of light hairlines near the edges of the screen, usually only visible under a certain angle and light.
        • Few microchips allowed on screen.

Grade A-

  • Condition: Good
  • Description:
    • Similar to Grade A but might have visible defects. Allowed defects include:
      • Small chips and scratches on the sides or bottom housing.
      • Can have one micro dent in a less-noticeable area (the bottom case, sides).
      • If the screen is turned on, it can have white spots or other similar imperfections (lines, discoloration, dead pixels, spotlights).

Refurbished A

  • Condition: Good
  • Description:
    • Similar to Grade A- with cosmetic, hardware upgrades and repairs are done if necessary.

  Grade B

  • Condition: Acceptable
  • Regular signs of use:
    • The device has seen regular use. Evidence of wear is present, but no deep scratches.
    • Small bumps and dents on top or bottom are allowed.
    • Chassis is in good shape and unbent.
    • Smaller cracks (no larger than 1 cm) are allowed. No broken-off or missing parts.
    • Keycaps must be clean, but minor dirt might be present between the caps.
    • Screens can have some visible marks when in use, with white spots allowed.
    • Light keycap marks on the screen (cap corners more visible).
    • Deep scratches are not allowed, but hairlines are acceptable.
    • Device generally looks fair at arm's length.
    • Small, dim spots allowed with few dead pixels.

Grade C

  • Condition: Acceptable (Heavy signs of use)
  • Heavy signs of use:
    • Heavily scratched cases; small dents allowed. Cracks and missing pieces of the bezel are allowed.
    • Security tags, glue marks allowed.
    • Chassis may be slightly bent.
    • Cracks that don't threaten the structural integrity are allowed.
    • Top case and body/chassis must have no space between them.
    • Strong security sticker removal marks or scratched stickers allowed.
    • Glue marks are acceptable.
    • Missing feet allowed.
    • Missing screws allowed if the bottom case remains intact.
    • Bent corners allowed if it doesn't affect opening/closing the lid.
    • Engraved/scratched text is permitted.
    • Keycaps must be clean, though minor dirt between caps is allowed.
    • Keycaps may show wear but must be intact.
    • Screens may show visible wear and tear, including:
      • Noticeable keycap marks on the screen.
      • Scratches on the screen.
      • Screen can’t break or "be cut" when turned on, but dead pixels and white spots are allowed.
      • Dust allowed in the corners and sides.
